
Cauliflower Broccoli Stir-Fry
This is a staple side-dish in our house that we make at least 1x per week. It is packed with plant-powered protein and has two of the good greens on Dr. Esselstyn’s list

- Total Time 20 Minutes
- Serves 4 People
Ingredients
- 1 tsp oil (olive or avocado)
- 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
- 1/4 to 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- caulflower florets (1/3 of a head of cauliflower), can also use stem of cauliflowers
- broccoli florets (equal to amount of cauliflower) and broccoli stems cut long
- salt to taste
Instructions
- Heat up oil in pan and add cumin seeds. Once they begin to open/release aroma (approx 2 min), add turmeric and stir
- Add cauliflower and stir for approximately 5 minutes (add water to prevent it from burning - 1 tbsp at a time)
- Add broccoli and salt and stir. Cook for approximately 2-3 more minutes
- Serve hot and fresh! Enjoy
